Joyce Ellen's Story
After high school, I attended nursing school(both LPN and RN) in Miami where I met my future husband. After graduation from Miami Dade Junior College with a AS in Nursing, I returned to Norfolk and worked at DePaul Hospital. I reconnected with Zane who I had met in Miami and moved to Chicago in the summer of 1969. We married in 1970, had two children and lived in Des Plaines and Arlingto...Expand for more
n Heights,Illinois for 11 years. In 1981 the family moved to the Denver, CO area where we continue to live today. My husband passed away in 2003 as the result of a car accident. I worked as the registrar in a high school for 24 years and retired in 2006. Now I enjoy spending time with my kids, two grandchildren and in my spare time I am playing golf and mah jong...I seem to be kept busy.
